Embellishment, particularly of the sequined variety, remains one of those treatments that the high street fails to emulate with either the sophistication or quality of branded alternatives. This look may have been around for a while, but for all the sports-lux looks clogging up the high street this season, sparkle remains high on the agenda for every bling-addicted party girl. For autumn, sequins are used all-over dresses in sophisticated 1920s-inspired patterns and are reserved largely for gold although appear sparingly in aquamarine and cobalt blue shades too.
