Copenhagen Fashion Week: Terminal Two

Set in the near-unreachable but very cool environs of a disused train terminal, which explains the show’s name, this is a streetwear show that hosts a couple of hundred street and denim labels. As a cool show location it is perhaps only trumped by Bread and Butter’s revival of Tempelhof airport in Berlin, which begs the question whether it is the destiny of all transport links to eventually host cool young fashion shows?

Anyway, among Terminal 2’s exhibitors are some familiar names like UK behemoth Superdry, Swedish jeans brand Dr Denim and Danish sportswear champion Hummel.
But there are also plenty of unfamiliar names from little print and jersey runs, heritage footwear brands and handcraft jewellers to full emerging fashion collections driven by either denim or more “high-fashion” credentials.
Fashion Buyer trawled what is essentially a hall and half of fashion to bring you news of some brands you probably haven’t heard of. They’re all eager for UK stockists so if you like the look get in touch and don’t forget to tell them where you heard about ‘em!Source URL: http://icip2idayusof.blogspot.com/2010/02/copenhagen-fashion-week-terminal-two_282.html
