Luxe lounge pants

A move on from the harem pant, these high waisted and gently elasticated silk and jersey versions were rolled out in the autumn 10 ranges in the Danish capital. With more than a nod to 1980s and a wink at the dancefloor, there were dropped crotch and heavily tapered silhouettes alongside more gentle and loose versions that simply gathered above the ankle for a soft look. These items’ wide waistbands were used to define a nipped-in silhouette that teamed with cropped knits that Bananarama would have been happy to wear while waiting for Robert De Niro.
