Copenhagen Fashion Week: Sign of things to come at Gallery

A Copenhagen agency called The Little Showroom is run by the youthful Lars Wiberg. A retailer himself, Wiberg has an eye for a commercial brand and sells 14 of them from the agency’s Danish office and showed quite a few of them off at Gallery. One such was Sign. In only its second season, this Danish brand summed up the new wave of boho romance that so many Copenhagen brands are subscribing to for Autumn 10. Shearling waistcoats are oh-so-Sienna, but there’s more to this label than re-hashing the early noughties. This is all about eclecticism – short sleeve sweat tops in classic grey marl, studded suede jackets, track pants, printed cotton tops and cocooning smocks are all in the mix as are washed silk trousers and studded cotton tunics. The pictures here don't really do these draped pieces much justice but check out the website for more details. A 2.5 markup sees wholesale prices starting at £28 for sweats and going up to £150 for leather pants.
