Treatment-heavy contemporary menswear brand Yukio Mishiba opted for a sludgy palette of earthy neutrals for its grungy autumn 10 collection. Laundered cottons with surface treatments and creased garment dyed finishes were key throughout the collection with double layered lapels, biker zips and hanging metal loops providing added details. Key pieces included metallic cotton biker jackets, zip-through gilets, melton blousons with knitted collars, slim-fit shirts covered in elongated pockets and a black puffa jacket printed with an all-over writted script. The languid jerseys and elongated featherweight knits that Mishiba has come to be known by were also present and appeared with raw edges, loose necklines and a palette of muddy browns and dirty beiges.
