Walking hand in hand with the reprise of the denim shirt is a swing back to denim jackets. Almost exclusively inspired by the Americana history books this is a look done best by the original innovators, Wrangler, Lee and Levi’s Vintage. All brands showed versions but the best were Lee’s fastidious carbon-copy of its 191J jacket with its characteristic cutaway zipped pockets, and Wrangler’s reinterpretation of its iconic jackets under the revived Blue Bell monicker.
