Fashion Buyer has grabbed a sneak peak of the autumn 10 campaign imagery from SC51, the menswear brand that replaced Sonneti in the WDT stable.
Based on a day in the park spent indulging in cycling, fishing and archery, it reveals a preppy range that mixes 50s and 60s looks that take inspiration from preppy East Coast styling and details from traditional and functional British garb.
From quilted jackets to shawl collar knits, chunky cable coatigans and Varsity button cardies, the key pieces take their cue from the collegiate and country themes that underpin menswear at the moment. In the mix too are washed down cotton jackets and washed-out denims, playing out a more dishabille relaxed personality that also comes through on the plaid shirts, bomber jackets and cotton slacks. Rugby tops and knitted tanks also appear alongside puffa gilets. The brand’s name is used as a Varsity style crest while elsewhere the golden Pegasus insignia is used as a logo.
The images will be used instore, online and in a press campaign.
Wholesale prices average out at £10 for a T-shirt, £16 for shirts, £20 for jeans, £35 for jackets and £20 for knits.
