If you ever get shipwrecked, pray it’s with Matthew Williamson. His parade of desert island party girls looked immaculate in a palette of sunburnt shades, ocean blues and washy prints. The tropical and tribal touches included feathered fringes, and superfine fabrics thick with embellishments and beading. In the mix were clingy petrol finish dresses and keyhole-detail leopard minidresses, and flyway silk maxis. Breezy tailored shorts and high-waisted trousers, including versions in eye-popping blue silk, added a knowingly commercial, office-bound edge to this collection. You know, just in case you’re not in middle of the ocean.Source URL: http://icip2idayusof.blogspot.com/2010/09/london-fashion-week-matthew-williamson.html
