Military meets utility with a touch of biker and plenty of nautical. Sounds like a real mash up of ever-present trends doesn’t it? Truth is it’s nothing new but Gilbert presented a consistent parade of looks. The unifier was the palette of olive green and the ever-present army details. In terms of garments, there were lots of db styles, including many peacoats, often cropped. Parkas came through as the casual alternative. Nautical navy was the counterpoint for colours.
