Fresh from the laboratory of chemical collaborations comes Supreme Being’s design tie-ins with DJ Goldie and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders. The two ten-piece capsules for men strike completely different poses. The Goldie range is all about techy nylons and lightweight windcheaters in a midnight palette of purple and black, with a stylised death’s head logo wearing headphones. Matt Helders’ range, meanwhile, includes soft cotton Harringtons and hooded shirts in a spectrum of light azure blue, white and sunshine yellow. A tablecloth check features in Helders’s soft touch, sun soaked range.
While both ranges are drenched in detail, drum and bass icon Goldie proved his design chops as a graffiti artist years ago and proves a neat counterpoint to Supreme Being’s colourful disco and graphic driven range.
