Among the most refined eyewear collections on the block is London brand Prism. The limited edition handmade collection reinvents classic shapes taken from the 1950s and 1960s.
Working from blocks of archive acetate dating back to 1849, the finish is exquisite with matt styles sitting alongside gloss looks with others in a crystal or marble-like surfaces. Working alongside the fashion seasons, Prism’s spring 10 collection includes five styles each inspired by and named after a different city.
Designed by WGSB European editor Anna Laub and made by a family-run factory in north east Italy, Prism is already stocked by a premier league raft of fashion boutiques including London’s Dover Street Market, Collette in Paris, Barneys in New York, and etailer Net A Porter.
