German suit brand Baumler rescued by Berwin & Berwin and Baumler agent Jason Gerrard

German tailoring brand and menswear supplier Baumler has been plucked from administration by a joint venture between UK suit specialist Berwin & Berwin and Baumler’s UK agent Jason Gerrard.

The new owners have acquired both the Baumler brand name and the brand’s spring 10 international order book from administrator Martin Prager of Pluta Rechtsanwalts.

Designs going forward will be overseen by Gerrard, who also owns menswear agency Geko Fashion Marketing and contemporary tailoring brand Without Prejudice, with input from Baumler’s other northern European agents.
