Men’s footwear brand Base London has launched a range of print-led vulcanised styles for the young fashion market. Called Fish’N’Chips, the graphic-heavy range includes geometric prints and florals alongside colour-soaked 1980s patterns and bright block colours.
Inspired by the classic canvas-upper plimsoll the collection includes lace-ups, slip-ons, espadrilles and lightweight boots, all with rubber soles and a gingham printed inner. Standout styles include Cod, the collection’s staple lace-up style which has a tough rubber sole and is available in a dizzying array of colours and patterns; Wrapped, a casual canvas wing-tip style; Scampi, a low-profile lace-up; and Wallys a contrast-stitch boat shoe.
Wholesale prices range from £14 for the espadrille through to £18 for the canvas boot.
