Womenswear spring 11 colour report: go neutral

Sit on the fence this spring and keep your colour palette neutral. Following on from this season’s camel explosion, the luxe rich tones are sticking around. Anne Valarie Hash proved beige is anything but, with a show almost entirely composed of the hue. Phillip Lim also played with a minimal (fast becoming a word for the season) neutral colour palette. Maxmara didn’t stray from caramel and beige. Leaving the front row craving an espresso I’m sure.
