Haversack - the name of the 12 year old Japanese label alone is enough to get the mouths of some menswear pundits watering. And at Pitti its spring 11 range summed up some of the key looks to emerge in menswear. A relaxing of the silhouette emerged, particularly on shirts, with oversized checks in the mix.
With db jackets becoming yet more relevant at this edition of Europe's flagship show, Haversack was just one of many brands to display a version, yet its soft touch fabric, skin tight silhouette and patch pocket details were bang on. But enough of the browns....
Repeated emblems were perhaps the number one directional detail to come through at Pitti. Haversack had several versions on show, usually in navy and usually with a nautical theme. Some were yet more subtle, like the tonal paisley here.
Fashionbuyer can confirm too that the team at Haversack were remarkably helpful at teh show. If you want to get in touch with the brand, email izumi.tahara@live.jp
