The man below is Vicenzo. The language barrier forbade any further elaboration on that but he was working in the Touch! hall, maybe as an agent. Anyway, it was his sartorial style that struck home for Fashion Buyer. A champion of the db, he also sported the same skater-boy, punk tinged chain as our Japanese friends from Leon (see earlier entry). Add in the socks, the army and navy mash up of olive and blue and you have an inspiring look. Fantastico.
As much as Fashion Buyer loves picking up on the various styles of continental, Asian and US fashion addicts, it is always a source of some pride that the UK always generates its own sartorial stars at Pitti Uomo. Among those, please take a bow Mr Michael Whitby Grubb. Snapped here on his Penrose London stand, where he was busy looking dapper. Seersucker and Bengal stripes were on display for many brands at the show and Mr MWG was bang on in his blue and white striped jacket, loyally accessorised with Penrose London scarf, pochette and shirtSource URL: http://icip2idayusof.blogspot.com/2010/06/pitti-people-italy-v-england.html
