This season has witnessed a couple of high profile celebrity campaigns from young fashion brands. First off we had Pepe Jeans' tie-up with top telly-totty Alexa Chung, and in the last few days anyone traveling on London's Tube network may have noticed central London stations plastered with G-Star ads featuring elfin movie star Liv Tyler.
It's the third campaign shot by Anton Corbjin, whose illustrious rock-inspired career has included shooting seminal sleeve artwork for U2's The Joshua Tree through to Corbjin's more recent foray into films as the director behind Ian Curtis biopic, Control.
The G-Star campaign signals a clear strategy from the Dutch denim house to chase the female market with Tyler photographed wearing pieces from the women's Low-T mini-collection which includes the utility-inspired tailoring and a new hybrid jeans silhouette called Low-T inspired by both the boyfriend fit and skinny shapes.
