Genre-straddling womenswear brand Just Female has been exhibiting alongside its similar sibling By Second Female this season and Fashion Buyer felt it was time to draw your attention to these softly sophisticated and occasionally edgy labels. Just three years old, Just Female has a full collection of womenswear, footwear and accessories. Long line jerseys and cropped tops offer a contrast of silhouettes, while animals and florals add a variety of prints. It all sits together neatly, tied together by a blend of easy wearability and youthful spirit. Draped silky jerseys, exposed zip dresses and plaid worker shirts are also in the mix. Internationally, the brand now has about 200 stores and it has been picked up by some UK buyers, including Asos.  By Second Female is the older sister, having been launched a decade ago in 2000. It releases six collections a year for short order deliveries.
