Heading back to Arcadia today and a sophisticated take on the 1970s trends from Miss Selfridge. this was less Studio 54 and much more about a reboot of boho with cleverly crocheted tops and utility pants alongside sheer maxi skirts and batwing tops. The colour palette was washed out , sun bleached and dusky, with sunset shades alongside kitsch geometrics. Pleated pants and kick flare trousers lined up alongside the full length skirts and silky kimono-esque tops and while there were plenty of flowing lines and draped fabrics there were scalloped, fringed and embellished details too. Elegant and commercial, with plenty of take-me-home prettiness to boot.
