At the nation's beloved Marks and Sparks, the 1970s was all about teacakes and StMichael labelling, at least that's how it seems in FashionBuyer's foggy memories. Well, for spring 11 that decade gets a reprise all across womenswear and Marks and Spencer is definitely not shy about getting stuck in. For night, that means heavy glamour, with sleek floor length dresses and serious gold jewellery. For daywear think light washes of denim including A-line button through skirts and swinging bell-bottoms. On top there are soft floral prints, boho-esque tiered dresses and loose knits. Silky separates bring jewel colours and ethnic influences in to the mix for what is a luxe and moneyed take on the decade of glam.Source URL: http://icip2idayusof.blogspot.com/2010/11/marks-and-spencer-womenswear-spring-11.html
