Kate Middleton's #Royal Wedding Sarah Burton Wedding Dress v. Pippa's Sarah Burton Dress

Royal Wedding Highlights...

The much anticipated royal wedding had the whole of the world talking about the wedding dress, the guests and even the colour of the Queen's Hat! When it was televised this morning I watched it with the grandparents and the whole atmosphere made me so proud of being British and I was glued to the screen until the end where the newly weds departed in an Aston Martin with "Just Wed" on the number plate. Hope you like...
After quite a few "safe" outfits by many of the guests I was cheering along with my nana when our 85 year old Queen got out in a lovely yellow Angela Kelly outfit with her very stylish nude heels with bows. You did Britain proud..
The soo cute bridesmaids' dresses were designed by childrenswear designer Nicki Macfarlane and hand-made by Ms Macfarlane and her daughter Charlotte Macfarlane at their homes in Wiltshire and Kent.

Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, wore a champagne silk dress with a lovely matching duck egg blue and champagne hand-embroidered coat, both by the designer Anna Valentine.

Victoria Beckham wearing a dress from her Autumn Winter collection with a Philip Treacy Hat, it was one of my favourite guest outfits of the day as she looked so elegant and sophisticated despite the trickiness increasing with a baby bump. David wore a really smart Polo Ralph Lauren Morning Suit.

Hmmm lets say they both made a statement in Valentino but I didn't paticularly like Eugenie's outfit;  I liked Princess Beatrice's outfit, the fastenator by Philip Treacy was a tad "OTT" and slightly reminded me off Lady Gaga's infamous scorpion headress...

I thought Carole looked stunning in the pale blue silk 'Sydney' dress by Catherine Walker (a favourite designer of Dianas) as she left the now famous London's Goring Hotel this morning, apparently she decided against her specially designed Lindka Cierach oufit weeks before the wedding day..although I feel sorry for the unfortunate designer I think this outfit must have been the right one. The embellished sleeves look gorgeous and the hat is simple but elegant.

Elton John and partner David Furnish were some of the celebrity guests invited...

Our first glimpse of Kate with her Dad in the car and you get to see the gorgeous veil and the beautiful lace The lace on the bride's dress details a rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock, and was hand-made by the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace.Accorsing to the BBC the workers washed their hands every 30 minutes to keep the lace and threads pristine, and the needles were renewed every three hours, to keep them sharp and clean. This is dedication and amazing craftsmanship, possibly even more than what you'd expect form Royalty.

The stunning dress by british designer Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, it has a lace appliqué bodice and skirt, and veil.

Kate's sister Pippa carried the bridal train measuring 2m 70cm, I applaud Kate's elegance throughout the ceremony as this dress looks like a deathtrap to walk in..

The now famous "two kisses", Kate wears earring as a gift from her parents as something new, a piece od blue material was sewn into the interior of the dress for something blue; while her "something old" was the traditional Carrickmacross craftsmanship used to create the bridal gown.

Kate's sister Pippa looked stunning in Sarah Burtons of Alexander McQueen dress, I love its elegance yet simplicity working perfectly with her sister's dress.

Another look at the gorgeous dress, it is actual genius and as Grazia said "It's not a fashion statement, it's a style statement". I agree with this totally and apparently already copies of this dress are being put into shops all across the world. The flowers contained myrtle, lily-of-the-valley, sweet William and hyacinth. It was designed by Shane Connolly.

    Tha happy couple..
This picture doesn't show the whole cake sadly only four of its eight tiers...EIGHT TIERS. Wow the royals do have it good but I don't think I could posibly eat a cake that beautiful.. possibly.
These are Katy Perry's nails and I just had to comment on there coolness. Talk about trendsetting but who wouldn't want a prince printed on their nails?
Ahaa one fot he best parts of the wedding if you ask me, nice to see something away from the traditionalism, with a bit of humour and fun. Wills, if you want to give me your lovely open top Aston Martin please don't hold back..

Victoria Beckham rocks Victoria Beckham 2011 Fall Collection at the #Royal Wedding (Photos)

Kate Middleton was not the only radiant fashionista at her royal wedding.

A radiant and pregnant Victoria Beckham in her 6 inch platforms and a chic, yet simple navy Victoria Beckham Fall 2011 dress and a dashing David Beckham in a Ralph Lauren suit added some spice to the royal affair.

For an overall Beckham effect, Posh added a fab Victoria Beckham clutch and stunning Philip Treacy hat for a look only Posh can rock so well.

Hair Trends 2011: Plaits and Braids

The plait obsession continues, from complicated forms at Alexander McQueen to classical at Hermès and Valentino.
The fashion world has fallen in love with the plait all over again, women are so lucky if they have long hair. Tried to do a French plait yesterday and looked very irregular, need a bit of practice. There are so many different ways to wear it! Celebs show us how it’s done for evening wear to the one side. Also there is the messy way with only one or two plaits and the favourite look is a long plait to the side.

Let's see the gallery "how to wear Plaits and Braids this season":
