Pure trends: safari

Springing like a fashion panther from the jungle of the 1980s is safari. As a look it is as nearly as relentless as the nautical trend, which, by the way, it eclipsed at Pure this season, eevn if Moda next week is expected to see that trend reversed. But on knits and dresses, with sequins adding more than a touch of bling, safari looks were significantly sexed up even if in general the palette was fairly faithful to naturalistic leopard spots. But with the overall spectrum at Pure veering towards neutral, there were more subdued interpretations too.
