We may have a new leader at Number 10, but Soho tailor Mark Powell remains El Presidente in the style stakes.




While, Fashion Buyer has always been aware of Mark's innate savoir faire and flair for suit-making and we were less well versed with his guerrilla marketing ambitions and crafty eye for an ad opportunity.






It was with some surprise then that on my morning stroll from Charing Cross to the Fashion Buyer office I discovered the walls of Soho had been plastered overnight with campaign posters urging us to visit Mark Powell's new tailoring emporium on Marshall Street. Perhaps it really is time to revisit the sartorial splendors of bespoke mod tailoring.
