Bread and Butter denim report: shorts

Arguably most denim shorts on punters are still cut-offs rolled at the knee for men or cut off above the pocket lining a la Kate Moss for women. Still, it has become such a significant category that, here in Berlin, brands backed the jeans shorts with gusto. Subtle distressing appeared here, just as with the full length jeans, on mid blue washes. For fellas, most of these knee length shorts were rolled once or twice.

Live from B&B: T-shirt trends: uber doodle

Shunning the computer driven graphics of futureheads, plenty of brands here are backing doodle-style graphics. But what doodles. Be it an overblown character, an inky owl or a sort of geometric sun god, these hand-drawn beauties put you in mind of the more disturbing illustrations that always held your attention in kid's books back in the day.

Live from B&B: T-shirt trends: illustrative prints

Pen-drawn linear fancies have been occupying the minds of T-shirt designers. Like the doodles published here, these are all about putting a human hand to work rather than a piece of computer software, so it's hardly surprising to see natural and hippy-dippy themes played out.
