Fans of the clean-lined proportions evangelised by Jil Sander since the 1990s can dose up on the designer's latest collaborative collection with high street champion
Uniqlo without calling-in the loan sharks.
This third collection under the J+ monicker delivers an excellent array of Sander's trademark crisp cotton shirts but the winning category for autumn 2010 is outerwear. For reference, take a look at the down-lined pea coats and double-breasted Chesterfield coats for men alongside the super-chic cropped funnel-neck jackets and slim-shouldered wool military coat for women. The best part perhaps, is the fact that there's nothing priced over £149.99.
Personally, we can't wait to get our chilly mitts on the men's quilted 2sb tailored blazer with notched lapels which is scheduled for a drop later this season.
