5 Ways for Men to Dress Slimmer
Karl Heinz loves... Inis Meain
With a website in Gaelic as well as in English, there's a wonderful sense of authenticity about Inis Meain. The knitwear specialist (who we think is pronounced something like in-ish-man, though we're happy to be corrected on that score!) has stockists in Europe, Tokyo and the US, including the hugely respected indie Grey Flannel in London as well as premium US department stores like Barneys and Bergdorf.
Rustic in flavour and expert in execution these knits feed neatly into the islander lifestyle that you would expect from a company based in the Irish Aran isles. Generations of skill are poured into the creation of multi-cable and heavy gauge knits alongside a collection of natural-coloured plaid shirts.
Check out the brand's blog http://inismeain.ie/blog/ and scroll down to see Karl Heinz Muller, owner of 14oz and organiser of Bread and Butter holidaying on the isles with his six (!) kids.

Puma Shoes
Puma AG Rudolf Dassler Sport, officially branded as PUMA, is a major German multinational company that produces high-end athletic shoes, lifestyle footwear and other sportswear. Formed in 1924 as Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik by Adolf and Rudolf Dassler, relationships between the two brothers deteriorated until the two agreed to split in 1948, forming two separate entities, Adidas and Puma. Puma is currently based in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
The company is known for its football shoes and has sponsored acclaimed footballers, including Pelé, Eusébio, Johan Cruijff, Enzo Francescoli, Diego Maradona, Lothar Matthäus, Kenny Dalglish, Didier Deschamps and Gianluigi Buffon. Puma is also the sponsor of the Jamaican track athlete Usain Bolt. In the United States, the company is probably best known for the suede basketball shoe it introduced in 1968, which eventually bore the name of New York Knicks basketball star Walt "Clyde" Frazier, and for its endorsement partnership with Joe Namath.
Puma Shoes Black and White EditionFollowing the split from his brother, Rudolf Dassler originally registered the new-established company as Ruda, but later changed to Puma.[3]:31 Puma's earliest logo consisted of a square and beast jumping through a D, which was registered, along with the company's name, in 1948. Puma's shoe designs feature the distinctive "Formstripe",[3]:33 with clothing and other products having the logo printed on them.
Puma Shoes for GirlsThe company also offers lines shoes and sports clothing, designed by Lamine Kouyate, Amy Garbers and others. Since 1996 Puma has intensified its activities in the United States. Puma owns 25% of American brand sports clothing maker Logo Athletic, which is licensed by American professional basketball and association football leagues. Since 2007 Puma AG has been part of the French luxury group PPR.

Cadburys Nail Varnish - Hot or Not?
Is this a rip off to sell more nail varnish or is it really something special? I try and think £11 I could buy a new top from new look for this price but its cadburys right?! It would be like painting your nails with chocolate and as a chocoholic this REALLY appeals to me. The shades are gorgeous in a dark brown or creamy tan so they are the perfect shades to pair with your autumn wardrobe.
I have been searching online for reviews but there aren't so many currently as it is so new on the market. I have tried them and they give a good strong glossy finish. the colours are bold but blend in with nudes, tans and camel. I ahve also tried the "Bliss" chocolate bar and that is also very yummy!
COMPETITION: There is a competition running for three weeks where very day 10,000 of these nail varnishes will be given away, simply buy a bliss bar text the number on the back and you may win something. Even if you don't win its a good excuse to eat chocolate! ;)
So... cadburys nail inc varnish, HOTor NOT?

Fashion Design Graduate Show
The fashion highlight this week in Brisbane, was the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Fashion Design Graduate Show. I attended the second show of three, which was a packed house at QUT’s creative industries precinct in “The Block” at Kelvin Grove. The events started on November 22 and conclude on the 24th. If you wish to find out more information about attending the last event, get more information here. View the Fashion Photography photos I took here.
This event is a showcase of the work of students from the only Fashion degree in QLD. The Bachelor of Fine Arts (Fashion) program has had great success over the years where some students having gone on to win renowned competitions nationally and internationally.
There was a combination of Womenswear, Menswear and Swimwear on show. The highlight for me in terms of presentation was the Oliver Twist theme shown by one of the students, where the models/actors put on a bit of a show for the audience.
I got myself a cosy spot at the back left in front of the catwalk, where I was shooting from an elevated position to try and shoot over the heads of those in the front row. Once again I shot without a flash, using an 85mm on Canon 20D. This gave me an effective reach of about 136mm which was ideal. The down lights over the stage caused some shadow to occur in the model’s eye sockets. Not much I can do about this besides use a flash, which I rarely want to do. Feel free to check out the photos in my Fashion Photo Gallery.
There were a few models working that night I had done photoshoots with, they included Kristin Parkinson (whom also modelled at the Swimwear from Oz launch party), Diana Rodriquez and Carmen James, all of who are part of the Vivien’s Models agency.
Make sure you check out the photos and let me know what you think. If you say something nice, I’ll send you one of the yummy snakes I got in the goody bags from the night… only yellow ones left.

Luke to open new Manchester store
Contemporary British menswear brand Luke is opening its first Manchester store on 4th November. Located in the Arndale Centre the 1,400sq ft shop marks the brand's third UK store.
Few brands command as much Fashion Buyer UK respect as Luke. Since its launch we have watched creative director Luke Roper plot a design course that has found the brand carve out a distinctive detail-rich personality which is perfectly pitched at the UK market. Luke's recent commercial successes are of course led largely by Roper's belligerence in designing a collection which has consistently done its own thing, rather than follow the coat-tails of the international muscle brands, but it would be short-sighted not to tip our hat to managing director Simon Poole and director Deborah Poole whose combined passion and closeness to the UK menswear fraternity has helped ignite and sustain retail sales.
Fashion Buyer UK wishes Luke the best of luck with its most recent foray into own retail.
Wholesale prices range from £10 to £116. For more information about the Luke collection phone 01869 366580.

Wrangler's sky high viral campaign
Since launching its striptastic Tony Ward web campaign at the start of the year, Wrangler has been dishing out a tonne of bright-spark online activity. The denim brand's most recent foray into the viral marketing world was the 'We Are Animals' campaign which asked visitors to its Stop Thinking website whether they were prepared to Stop Thinking in exchange for a mysterious but life-changing reward.
Four members of the public who decided to pick up the gauntlet were whisked away to Belgium a fortnight ago and thrown out of a plane at 13,000 feet. Find out if they landed in one piece by clicking here.
