Cult menswear brand Our Legacy underlined its neo preppy credentials at Pitti Uomo with a confident collection stacked with laid-back casual classics.
An Our Legacy staple, the traditional button-down collar Oxford shirt was updated in antiqued prints, Indian-blanket fabrics and 1980s-inspired geometric patterns.
The trend for summer 2010 patterns was driven also by Madras checks and super-soft chambrays, while texture was explored through a use of herringbone on unstructured 3sb cotton tailoring and parkas in parachute-inspired fabrics.
A sophisticated oatmeal palette provided the backdrop for much of Our Legacy's offer including a clean-lined sweatshirt, a loose fitting collared cardigan, and a Safari-style jacket.
Other highlights in the collection included simple marl grey T-shirts, mod-inspired suits, Aran jumpers in chunky cotton knits, and next summer's essential Derby shoe.
