The Topman Limited range (slightly pricier than the mainline at around an extra £20 for a coat) goes equestrian for autumn 10. With its hunting jackets, riding panelled trousers and quilted crew-neck sweaters, this is anchored to a modern and distinctly urbanised take on the English country gent. But Nordic knits also get a look in and so too does the ocean-going wool coat with duffle tog fastenings. Here was the most confident display of aggressive trouser silhouettes including dropped crotch and tapered styles.
