New Look Trends Autumn 2010: Country Chic

Textured woollen outerwear, plaids and pleated balloon trousers were thrown into the trend blender for New Look's take on country-inspired casuals. Plum tones and earthy shades provided the backdrop for the look which was dangerously reminiscent of Karen Millen circa 2005. As such, this theme may be a touch too frumpy for New Look's glam-fash target shopper.

Better were the accompanying accessories which included some excellent stack heeled hiking boots, sheepskin-lined mocassin wedges, and damask curtain bags.
