Universal Works put a sock in it

Christmas is coming and Fashion Buyer is getting fat. But who cares when you can look forward to getting some new socks? Especially the new range from Universal Works. Brand founder David Keytes decided to create the line after visiting one of the family run factories he uses up in Nottingham, where they are now all knitted by a fifth generation UK business.

With key footwear styles in mind, these were designed to tick the comfort, fit, and style boxes all at once, with space dyed and flecked knits in the mix.
The Rib Sock made with cotton and nylon, has internal terry hoops for increased comfort. Diamond is a cotton sock incorporating a classic diamond rib pattern of old timers socks but in a chunkier style more friendly to your big brogues. The Seaboot sock is based on fisherman’s sea-worthy sock but updated with a lower leg perfect for deck shoes and shorts. Most techy is the Walkers Sock High, made for supreme comfort in a mix of cotton, and the clever Wool Ultra® yarns to minimize blisters and has natural anti-microbial characteristics.
And you thought socks were boring.Source URL: http://icip2idayusof.blogspot.com/2010/11/universal-works-put-sock-in-it.html
